Gurung/Marribena Lady (Doctor Lady) is the bush medicine doctor who fixes you up. She travels around the country fixing people up and making sure everything is going alright. The Marribena lady lives in the cave and comes out in the night and travels around. She goes up in the sky and come down and finds someone. She sits on top of his head and tells him a story. She takes him up in the sky in his dreams on a string (the string is called marmorra). She’s got him up in the sky and she’s making a doctor out of him (She is teaching him things). The Doctor Lady will make a fire from leaves and she will fan the smoke around his body and will sing songs. She makes medicine out of the leaves for him to drink. She opens his eye and she can see right into his body. She will make him happy and that makes you feel better. When he wakes up in the morning he will be better and happy.
