The story:
This painting shows the journey, in later life, of the ancestral sisters – the Kunga Kutjarra – who were running south to avoid the advances of Panpanalong, the bellbird man. Her spiral formation refers to the origins of the fauna and flora and Pansy’s Aboriginal people.
