The pig face is a moist food in a dry climate and grows in sandy soil throughout Tasmania. This painting represents the time I spend with Mikayla and being able to pass on my knowledge to her. The pink flower shrinks to an edible fruit that has a taste like mangoes. The fleshy succulent laeves can be sliced and used as a salad or squeezed and the juice has healing powers like aloe vera.
