Theresa has painted her father’s country which is called a soakwater called Tjurnu near Nyilla on the Canning Stock route. The painting depicts the different features of the country including the tali (sandhills), spinifex and desert trees as well as bush tomatoes and raisins. The central circle is a warniri (rockhole). This painting was exhibited in the 20th Desert Mob exhibition at the Araluen Art Centre in Alice Springs in September 2010
