This story has been passed on to Pansy by her mother and her maternal grandfather. It represents country at Illpilli – about 400km west of Alice Springs towards the Western Australian border. This is the place where a hailstorm hit the community creating great damage. The large hailstones went deep into the ground and now the water that bubbles out of the spring there is cold, cold water. Pansy finished painting this work for her October 2010 solo exhibition at Art Mob a few days before the launch after having started it many years before.
Cash – locally only – up to $10,000 only. Layby facilities available. Card details can be advised securely using WhatsApp.
