The story:
This story has been passed on to Pansy by her mother and her maternal grandfather. It represents country at Illpilli – about 400km west of Alice Springs towards the Western Australian border. This is the place where a hailstorm hit the community creating great damage. The large hailstones went deep into the ground and now the water that bubbles out of the spring there is cold, cold water.
