This painting shows Rachel’s father’s country near Yuendumu. The diagonal elements represent a cave system with 3 camp sites within them. At opposite corners Rachel is showing women (U shape) with their digging stick and coolamon (wooden bowl). The circular elements represent different parts of her country. Her use of multi coloured dotting gives a wonderful 3-dimensional effect to her work. Rachel is a highly acclaimed Warlpiri artist.
