This painting represents the Thylacine’s territory, and the country he is familiar with. The Thylacine – Tasmanian tiger; now an extinct animal in Tasmania. Our people held the Thylacine in high regard because it was a skilled hunter. The patches of dots in the background represent familiar hunting ground and the white dots and circles represent his travels between his hunting grounds and his resting places.
