The spider-like creatures are guardians, protectors of what is forbidden. The forbidden are the symbols just below each of the 3 spiders at the top of the painting. The symbols represent knowledge of how to unlock the full potential/force of the mind. The spiders are protecting you and the world around you from this force because of astounding power but also keeping you from using this amazing attribute of the human mind. The rest of the painting represents an encoded vessel for this knowledge to be displayed on. This painting is Julian’s seventh work.
