The story:
This painting represents my commitment to Mikayla as her father; to teach her about our culture, to guide her through life a respect her choices. The echidna represents fertility, the kangaroo represents my connection to my ancestors and the symbols represent the spirit of Mikayla’s ancestors. Her footprints represent the beginning of our journey together.
