Alice paints the tali Tali (or sand hills) from Taalalpi. Taalalpi holds great significance for Alice and is the country her Father and Mother used to travel when she was a very small girl. Water has collected in between the sandhills, providing sustenance for her porcupine. The tjikamamta (porcupine) is Alice’s own personal tjukurrpa (dreaming). Taalalpi is located near the WA/NT border between Kintore and Kiwikurra.
