Theresa Nowee Napaltjarri

Theresa has painted her father’s country, which is centred around Puntujalpa (Jupiter Well) near the community of Kiwirrkura. The painting depicts the different features of the country including the tali (sand hills), spinifex and desert trees as well as pura bush tomatoes and kantjilyi (raisins). The central circle is a warniri (rock hole). Theresa is the daughter of Brandy Tjungurrayi.
