The story:
This work depicts the tali or sandhills of the artist’s country west of Kintore following the annual rains. In the sandhill valleys muingada or bush tucker grows in profusion. This painting was exhibited at Desert Mob 2006 at the Araluen Art Centre, Alice Springs by Ikuntji Art Centre of Haasts Bluff.
