Kathleen Petyarre

This painting was painted by Kathleen Petyarre at Mount Liebig – about 300lm west of Alice Springs – as apyment for mechanical work done to her vehicle. The mechanic subsequently sold the painting through the manager of Watiyawanu Artists, Glenys Wilkins and then her daughter at ArtSmart Marketing in Alice Springs. Euan Hills, manager of Art Mob, bought it in May 2006 in Alice Springs from ArtSmart Marketing along with 3 other paintings from the Mount Liebig region.
