The imagery on this glass shield is inspired by the dog (or dingo) dreaming. The country for this dreaming is in the west McDonnell ranges to the west of Heavitree Gap right by Alice Springs. Sam’s knowledge of this dreaming was gained during ceremony (initiation) in 2002.
