Gloria Petyarre

Gloria has depicted small bush leaves that are prepared and used for a topical skin application. This bush ointment inhibits the effects of stings and assists in the healing process of cuts and grazes. Gloria commenced her career as a silk batik artist and has since decome one of the most outstanding artists of the contemporary Aboriginal art movement. She is represented in museums and major collections and still travels extensively for exhibitions.
