The story:
Nora has painted some of her country located near Kunawarritji (Well 33) south west of Balgo along the middle stretches of the Canning Stock Route. The central circles represent warniri (rockholes) the largest of which is named Kinyu, while the vertical lines at the bottom of the painting are men lying down waiting to catch women. This country s dominated by tali (sandhills).
