Nora has painted some of her country located near Kunawarritji (Well 33) on the Canning Stock Route. The shape at the bottom left hand corner of the painting depicts the camp of a spirit man known as Yula. Yula was looking for a wife. The shape on the right hand side depicts the young woman Yula took to be his wife. He was cruel to his wife so the other women took his young bride back and told him to go away. While Yula was asleep the spirits took her up into the sky to keep her safe from Yula. The oblong shapes in the painting represent the marks left from the women dancing a song known as Yarruparrapa that they sang to Kinyu the spirit dog for protection. The shape in the top right hand corner depicts the cave of two old women. The shape below this depicts a warniri (rockhole).
