Nora has painted some of her father’s country, called Kunawarritji, far to the south west of Balgo Hills along the middle stretches of the Canning Stock Route. Kunawarritji is represented by concentric circle and tali (sanddunes) are seen as parallel lines. This country is full of kumbraht, a type of bush raisin which is plucked off low bushes and eaten raw.
