This depiction by mother and son depicts the location, seasons and symbols that represent the essence of the aboriginal culture 270km north east of Alice Springs. Awelye represents the women’s story and the passing down of important information to the younger generation to learn how to respect the land and continue to pass on the laws of the culture.
This is one of the very few works created by mother and son.
