The story:
This painting represents the whale beaching on Ocean Beach at Strahan. The foot prints represent the community helping with the whales. This this an event that has occurred over 100’s of years. It is possible this same community have retraced the steps of the Mimegin people of Macquarie Harbour from years gone by.
