Jack has painted this story of Peter who died. Peter was a stockman from Mount Elizabeth Station in the Kimberley, WA. The station manager laid out his body on a stretcher/trolley and put him in the shade house. God saw him there from the clouds and decided that he was a good man and that he would take him to heaven. He made a willy willy that came by and carried that man to heaven. While he was in heavben, he worked hard for God. He cut wood and did many other things and was rewarded with spurs, saddles and beautiful clothes. God sent him back to earth to tell that story to the Aboriginal people so that they too could be rewarded with spurs, saddles and beautiful clothes.
This story was told to Jack Dale by the missionaries.
