Nimerriddi is two hills high up on Texas Downs Station in the Osmond Range. Nimeriddi is the place for the fig tree Dreaming. There are many fig trees here which the artist says is unusual because they only ever grow on the flat low country. Nimerriddi is also a good place to hunt porcupine (echidna). This painting was from Kevin Kelly’s collection and was executed in 1998 and was part of a 12 piece project that Queenie never got finished.
