This is a creating time story where Wati Nuru was chasing two sisters across the landscape trying every trick he could to secure them for his wives. The women danced and danced across just south from Alice Springs on the Western MacDonall Ranges. When they danced they created a mountain range from the style in which they were dancing. This track is reflected in this painting. It painting is my view of this mountain range after living in front of it for more than 13 years. I am showing it from various times of the day. The different colours in the ranges are the colours I see from morning to midday to sunset. The five dots across the centre of the painting represent Walpiri, Arrente, Luritja, Yankuntjatjarra & Pitjantjatjarra ceremonies across the landscape.
