The story:
Mick worked with ‘Lucky’, an Eastern Grey Kangaroo at the Bicheno Wild Life Park. This is his sketch that he has turned into a painting for his solo exhibition ‘Back on Track’ 2013. His hand prints are an important feature of this work and reflect their traditional use as an artist’s mark over many generations of his Tasmanian Aboriginal ancestry.
