This painting represents traditional burning practices that have been important to our people for continued hunting and bush regeneration. The centre represents a group starting a fire and the white dots are people moving into new areas to help spread the fire. The coloured dots represent the different temperatures within the fire. This painting also depicts the Tasmanian tiger (or thylacine) hunting chronicle, the yellow dots are favorite hunting spots and the orange/red lines represent his path around these sites.
