Sam Juparulla Wickman

Sam has painted an image of himself during Ceremony (initiation). He is shown travelling through country during Emu ceremony. The Emu ancestors are shown as the 2 oblong elements to the right. His different associated tribes are shown as the 6 squarer blocks to the mid right of the picture. Sam completed this painting at Art Mob during his exhibition “Ceremony” in February 2005.
