Gilling Gilling old lady called Muluru. Big headdress called Gumundunga – 2 big ears so she can hear the sound – necklaces on neck like beads. One hand up with big bumpy elbow and hand down to near feet. Other elbow over him and hand up. The two Buderu marks on chest and three stripes Yaruru. Two legs up and clapping – teaching the Bundimi dance to the young girls. The Gilling Gilling are all at Victoria River in Wardaman country in the caves. They still live in the caves today and they come out at night time and make a lot of noise. They’re downstream from the pub and bridge at Victoria River. There’s lots of white paint on the walls of those caves and in the Creation time they’re dancing and doing all sorts of tricks.
Cash – locally only – up to $10,000 only. Layby facilities available. Card details can be advised securely using WhatsApp.
