This painting portrays an area on and around the Canning Stock Route. The circles all represent different Willpa (wells) or Yinta (spring waters). From top to bottom is Nyarrui (well 32), Warla Warla (well 31), Juntu Juntu (well 30), Luurnkurangu a yinta, Wuranu (well 29) Yinyiri a yinta and Mamunara (well 28). The lines are representative of all of the tali (sand hills) that are incredibly prevalent in this area. The white part is a flooded warla (lake) and there are a lot of pretty wild flowers around during these times. The artist used to travel all around this area with her family during the pujiman (bush) days.
