This painting portrays a little warla (lake) in Warnman country called Japarli. It is a salt warla which is why the background is white. All of the circular shapes represent the soaks within the lake and the lines are all of the tali (sand hills) on the edges of the lake. This country belongs to the artist and his family where they all walked around in during the pujiman (bush) days.
