Jakayu Biljabu

Represented in this painting is Pinpinjarlu a rock hole in the Wikiri area not far from the community of Parnngurr. It is the larger of the circular shapes in the painting, the other circles also represent kupi (water), their names are Nirnkul, Purn and Jurturnpa. There is grass country all around. This is the artists Mummies country not far from the Canning Stock Route. During the pujiman (bush) days the artist and her community travelled extensively throughout this country with her family, it is her Ngurra (home) country.
