The Wanakiji dreaming travels on to Yaturlu Yaturlu (Tanami area – Mount Theo), north of Yuendumu. Wanakiji or bush tomato is a round, green and fleshy fruit. After collecting the fruit, black seeds are removed with a small wooden scoop called Kajalarra – it is like a spoon. The fruit then can be eaten raw or threaded onto sticks called turlturrpa, and cooked over a fire. The fruit of this plant is also pierced onto a stick and left to dry – when prepared in this way is called – turlturrpa. In this manner the fruit could be kept for considerable lengths of time. The Dreaming belongs to Napanangka/Napangardi women and Japanangka/Japangardi men.
