Wanipi is an area of country that Dinny has close associations with. It is a popular place amongst the women, who hunt regularly for bush tucker and find an abundance of Arlatyey (pencil yam) there. It is also good for a variety of other bush foods. This painting represents a ceremony in honour of this special relationship developed over time between people and place.
