Mervyn Street

This is my own story about my life. I was a drover, I paint from my memories of those days. I paint to show the younger kids what life was like and to remind old people to help bring their memories back. This scene is of down by the old crossing where we would bring the bullock to go on the trucks. This camp was a nine day ride from Louisa Downs slowly pushing bullock along. We drove them from Louisa Downs Station, put them on the trucks then ride back again.
