The story:
This bark was purchased from Percy Tresize at Laura in 1976 by a Hobart traveller William Davis. William had been flown by the pilot Percy Tresize to view the “mythical Quinkan figures” that are painted on the rock galleries in that region of far north Queensland. It was subsequently brought in to Art Mob in July 2012.
