This painting is about my land. In this painting you can see a number of different types of dirt. Manta Palya – good dirt to track people and animals. There are a number of rock-holes throughout the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytatjara Lands, my mother told me many stories about these lands and taught me where to find water and bush tucker. I have a map of these lands in my head, I will never get lost, the land tells a story so I will always find my way home.
