Yinta’s (Waterholes) are integral to Martu people. In the pujiman (bush) days the artist travelled from kupi (water) to kupi with her family. In this painting the artist has painted a series of important kupi sights in the “top end” of the Canning Stock Route area; people would come from everywhere to visit these spots. From the top left and moving clockwise is Purl Purl, Wilkutja, Minkaja, Kun kun, Mulyakurtu, Parnyurl and Yunapi. In the centre is Muurkularn.
