There was a small boy who had no parents and was neglected. One day the families caught an emu and prepared to cook it and eat it. This little boy ran in and took the emu’s heart and ran away with it. Big willy willys came up afterwards and swept the families away. The design painted is depicted on shields and body paintings and is a sacred men’s design.
