This didgeridoo was made in North East Arnhem Land – the traditional home place of the didgeridoo. It has been hollowed out by termites and hand painted using natural ochres – ground up rock mixed with PVA wood-working glue and water. The artist, Jo Jo Petersen has painted a yam and a snake on this musical instrument. The cross hatching is very typical of the art of this region and is called rarrk.
Cash – locally only – up to $10,000 only. Layby facilities available. Card details can be advised securely using WhatsApp.
