Jock Mosquito

This country here is just over the Northern Territory border – south east of Kirkimbie and Inverway on the other side of the Duncan Highway which in this part is called the Buntine Highway. We call it flat rock country. This is real dry land around here, not much good for cattle or anything most of the time. No water anywhere the way I’ve painted it. Only thing out this way is pretty small wallabies that jump all over the rocks, but they only come after the rains, because those rocks get so hot not even the animals can walk on them – no way for people.
