Real sandy desert country around here – Lake Gregory Way. Rough roads and no water here, not even coming down from topside country in the north-west, it’s just all salty sand. The gorge (to the south-east) is pretty good part in the wet – good hunting and plenty of tucker down there. Old people’s favourite camping place for a long time.
