The story:
This painting was bought by Euan Hills, Art Mob from Mike Fisher – a taxi driver in Alice Springs in 2003 as one of a group of paintings that over time had been collected as payments in lieu of cash for taxi rides. Some of these rides would have been quite lengthy and worth a reasonable priced painting. Others were just a source of currency. Art Mob exhibited this body of work in an exhibition in July 2003 “Trading Images”.
