This story stems from Bob’s paternal grandfather old Kantawarra and passed on to Bob by his father Mick Tjakamarra. The painting shows men sitting in ceremony in contemplation of death in old age. As is tradition the elderly are left behind if they are unable to travel. The concentric circles are a fire place. The two long earthy shapes are windbreaks. The background dotting represents bushtucker and country.
