The story:
A Dodoro bird from the stone country, sitting on a tree and watching 2 mimi’s – Manhbinjal and Manhbirol – who had stolen a fish. Manhbinjal and Manhbirol cut the fish in two, then ate it. Then they had to run away because the othertribe was chasing them and throwing spears. This painting is similar to works by Bobby depicted on page 187 of “They are Meditating – Bark Paintings from the MCA’s Arnott’s Collection” 2008.
