The story:
This painting is an abstract mapping of the Mikanji region in Warlpiri country north west of Alice Springs in the Tanami Desert region. It is a special water dreaming site for the Warlpiri people. The 2 camp sites depited as the roundels are possibly Mount Conniston and Mount Dennison. Dinny would say that the track between them is Toyota track!
