This painting was painted in Alice Springs by Barbara early in July 2006. The central top circular motif shows a camp site. The long red line is a line formed on the ground by the Pintupi women as they dance. The long parallel lines around this red line tell of the songs they sing for this ceremony. The red spotted circular elements are women painted up for ceremony. The triangular shell shaped images are women’s breasts painted up with ochre as body paint. The solid orange elements are rock holes in her country. The other wavy lines depict sand hill country.
