This Jukurrpa comes from Mina Mina. It is about a group of women of all ages who danced at Mina Mina during the Dreaming. As theydanced digging sticks rose up out of the ground. This painting depicts the majardi, hairstring skirts, which the women dance in for yawulyu, ceremony. These skirts are made of hair and spun on a spindle. The circles in this work are jintiparnta, edible fungus, which the women collected as they travelled. The women travelled on from Mina Mina, dancing and creating many places. The owners for this Land, Dreaming and Designs are Napangardi and Napanangka women.
