This painting seeks to capture the important life sustenance water provides to Aboriginal life. The vibrant blue hues show water depth. A variety of water bodies can be found in Australia whether found in a billabong, creek, river or in the sea. Water will continue to provide for Aboriginal people. Earth: Earth is the origin of all things. Mother Earth forms some of the greatest tings one will ever see. The views of mountains, valleys, endless horizons or gorges are my greatest inspirations. Through my painting of Earth I seek connection to the world around me. Cloud: During the wet seasons of Australia monsoonal clouds quickly fill the horizon. The heavy rains that follow drastically change the landscape. This painting seeks to capture the rich strong greys that can be found in the water filled rain clods of the North. Bush: Although Australia is the driest continent on Earth parts of it are bushlands and rainforests. This painting seeks to capture the bush in the wet season. Fire: Fire has many roles in Aboriginal life. As well as cooking food fire is used by Aboriginal people to help regeneration by seasonal burn offs. This painting seeks to capture the bright to warm colours of fire.
