In this Ngarrangkarni (Dreaming) story, Beerbee says two young boys climbed up the hills in this painting. They were following an old man. The man saw them following and told them ‘I’m not going hunting, ‘ and sat down, Beerbee says “to fix up his spear.” The two boys snuck away to the place they thought the man was going. Here they killed and cooked up a crocodile. The old man could smell the meat cooking and when he found out what the boys had done, Beerbee says he “made a big wind come out of that Boab.” The old Boab tree was growing on Lissadell station, but has since died – “he’s finished now, “ Beerbee says. The two boys turned into fish.
