Nora Nagarra

This is a special place in the Bungle Bungles where all the water falls in the middle “We used to come this way from Turner Station. We used to go from Turner to Bungle Bungles and from Bungle Bungles back to Turner Station”. Turner River is Nora’s family’s country. Nora was born at Turner River Station and worked on the station as a young girl. Nora uses a series of dots to portray the undulation and geography of the country. “This is all my country. This is where I grew up as a young girl and worked on a station. There are plenty of caves and good camping places all over this country”.
